Completion of PM Library Record (Manager Approval)

Allows user to complete the PM Library Record by sending the record for approval from Manager.

PM Library Approval Workflow

Please note that approval requests are limited to users below the manager level and managers cannot send approval requests to themselves or to other managers.

  1. Click on PM Library from the left menu.

  2. Select the Correct plant and Department information from the drop down list and input the tag number that you are searching for. You can input a sub-string of the tag number instead of the full tag number, i.e. you can input 101 to locate a tag number A-101. Hit "Enter" to invoke the search. You can filter the result by selecting the status.

  3. All relevant matches will be displayed in the resultant table.

  4. Select the revelant PM Library Record by clicking on the ID number on the left.

  5. To send the PM Library record for approval, click on the Edit button on the top left. Change the status to "Pending Approval".

  6. Select the Approver. Then click Save at the bottom of the page.

  7. The selected approving manager will receive an email notification regarding this request for completion. An URL link will provided in the email for easy reference. Upon clicking on the link and logging in, the Manager can approve the completion or reject the closure of this PML record.

  8. If the Manager approve the PML Completion request, the status of the PML record will change to Complete.

  9. If the Manager reject the approval request, the status will be changed to Pending Amendments, and the user will receive an email notification about it. User can re-send for approval by going back to step 5 after updating the PML record.
